After years of manufacturing and marketing products for acoustic correction and insulation, the Tecnasfalti group has decided to venture into the furniture industry.

This led to the inception of Skin, a company specializing in sound-absorbing panels designed as furnishing accessories to enhance the acoustic performance of architectural spaces. The strategy, naming, and visual identity are crafted to amplify a subtle, relaxed, and well-being-oriented approach, playing on the ambivalence between acoustic well-being and a company focused on wellness, ultimately contributing to an improved quality of life within the given space.

Skin products are crafted by combining FIBTEC® (100% recycled PET fiber) with a TREVIRA® surface fabric. They feature a distinctive geometric texture capable of creating various patterns depending on the context. This design flexibility allows architects and interior designers to creatively incorporate the product, contributing to the character of the architectural space in a harmonious manner. The product is tailored to be effective in diverse settings such as homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, bars, and more. These products have earned recognition for their design excellence, including accolades such as the Archiproducts Design Awards 2021 and the German Design Award Special 2023.
